She's got the red hair (out of a bottle, mind you) and the grey eyes (sometimes), but she's altogether too short. Unless, mind you, you can locate someone to play Aral who's only 5'3". And Miles would have to be about three feet tall. Hard as I've tried--I adore Gillian, she's much nicer than her costar, maybe even prettier--I've never been able to picture her as Cordelia. Unfortunately, grey is the one color you can't *get* with color-changing contacts. I know, I've tried. Makes no sense to me that you can get aquamarine and pine-green and other colors never found in nature, but you can't get *grey*. Though I suppose they *could* be custom ordered... :) I agree that hair and eye color are relatively irrelevant, but height isn't. Cordelia is a tall woman; Gillian is short. And there are definite limits to how much height you can add with lifts without having it become obvious, unfortunately. Paul Darrow AND Jaqueline Pierce were on Blake's 7. I met Paul Darrow when he came to San Diego at the expense of the local fan club. He can play anything. About 5'9", black hair, and an incredible memory. I think I should tell the local Blake's 7 fans about this. LMB is coming to San Diego for Condor in Febuary. Obviously, she is a fan. Hmmm.... reading down that list... how about Nigel Bennett? (Most recent series role, the vampire Lucien LaCroix on the syndicated series "Forever Knight".) He's tall, can do obsessively well-controlled, and as for looks-- well, you can do the beaky nose w/prosthetics and "ugly" is at least half attitude if you're not a "pretty-boy" type.
