Message-ID: <20000109034945.19064.qmail-+AT+-web1201.mail.yahoo.com> Heyla List-Sibs!! I'm gonna break a rule here, and only have one short topic... hope Auntie Mel doesn't break ALL my fingers!! LOL A while back, we were discussing the ring that Kris gives Talia. You know, the one that resembles the Irish Wedding Ring that we have here in mundane Earth. Now, one of the things we discussed was how ours is worn; which way the heart should be facing for different reasons. So my question is this: What does it mean when the heart's point is away from the wearer, and what does it mean when the heart's point is towards the wearer? I honestly can't remember, and someone asked me... if any of you can help me, I'd be eternally grateful! (Well, maybe not THAT grateful, but much happier!) ===== ---<---<---<----+AT+- Li'nia Stormdancer -+AT+---->--->--->--- Peon to the Powers That Be, (Hopeful)Goddess of All Things Possessed, & Caretaker of the Arena of Discussion and Dissention __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? It's been so long since I read a book from the point of view of a Herald though that I kind of miss it. If I ever find time I'm going to have to reread. I kind of enjoyed the politics of Valdemar and the heralds, at least what I remember. Now everything is so focused on external magics and unknown enemies. But I'm getting my polictical scheming fix from the Darkover novels at the moment so I think I'll survive. On another note...I signed on to this list a while ago and signed off b/c there was too much mail for me to deal with during the semester. I recently signed back on in digest form and there hasn't been all that much. Murphy's law?
