Wolves would be cool though, maybe a tiger or big cat, the kyree are built more like a plains cat than wolves. I am not a big Owl___ fan but you should read them, just in case Misty writes something that's not YA after them and makes references back, is a good thing. The majority of the sf/fantasy in my library is called YA, it''s horrible. Fav. Male: Darkwind ,it was toss up between him and Van, but sometimes all that angst annoyed me Fav.
