Which would you prefer? I mean, Misty has created the pools for the Tale'edras, the Compass Rose for the scholars in Haven, etc. I was just wondering about that, since I have such a hard time finding a place like that, and getting very wistful when I read things like that. >> I live in a really tiny town, well, its not so tiny, but the teeny populatino is spread out over a wide area, but at least we can boast multiple stoplights, I met a kid who lived in a town with only one and WHOA am I rambling.......Oh yeah, place to hang. My spot, which I don't get to go very often cuz its a ways away, but it combines friends and Misty, so its a good thing, its Borders. Its great, my friend Julia and I can shop for books (she's a David Eddings a-holic, so we are both frantically attempting to get each other hooked on our own respective author's works) and then we pick up banana or strawberry smoothies, or coffe, and those litle bon bon things, and talk forever. Plus there is a music store upstairs, so I have all I need! Um, Ob Misty.... Someone mentioned a site where someone had posted Misty fanfic with Misty's permission. How did she manage that, and is this a once-in-a-cottage-cheese-moon or could others get permission? Oh, and I was looking at the filk on the Firebird site and wasn't able (due to technical difficulties on the part of my computer Beelzebub) to hear all of the samples. Has anyone bought either Heralds, Harpers, and Havoc, or Lovers, Lore, and Loss? or any of ther other CD's for that ,matter? Did you like them, which did you like better? Malls are no good, you stop to talk with people you know and see, there's about ten of you, a security guard tells you yo break up. Sorry about the rant, it just angers me. Adolecence doesn't mean troublemakers. My ideal place would probably be a small bookstore, with a good Misty and other good S/F+Fantasy authors of course, with a small cafe with hot cocoa, munchies and talking with friend food. Not a too popular place for the average adolesent, but for me and my friends; a definite hang out.
