So make sure to set your browser/mail program to NOT automatically open attachments and you're fine. If if you're in a unix based system you most likely can't see attachments anyways. I'd just feel bad if everyone started being terrified of opening their emails everyday. Fear is bad. =( Just ask Yoda! =) Also if you're going to pass on a virus warning please please pass on a source (like CNN or Macafe or your business's help desk). there are too many hoaxes out there that don't need to get spread around. On a happier (and at least somewhat misty related!) note....to all those with new books. Enjoy! I'm jealous! Also, does anyone know the best place to get the first Harry Potter book? Good luck to all the college students who are finishing up the semester and facing finals (and grad students who have to grade those finals!). Don't get too stressed! And I had more luck to wish to some people but I've forgotten it, so a blanket of luck to keep everyone warm or cool depending on the season where you are. Back to reading papers on mantle mineralogy. guh. Un*x users see attachment's fine; Micro$oft has no copyright on the MIME email standard. (Nor, legally, could they.) It's just that there's been no useful implementation of Visual Basic, especially in an email program, on Un*x variants and derivatives. Singaporeans anione? Message-ID: <20000506192738.6448.qmail-+AT+-web209.mail.yahoo.com> Hi! I just subscribed to this list, but forgot to check my account until today... In any case, I'm a Singaporean as well, but I'm not there right now, since I'm studying in London. Strangely enough, I don't recall seeing that many bookshops here which sell Misty's books, but then again, I like wandering into the small shops, and not the huge chains like Borders and Waterstone's. I'm pretty behind on all her books, since I don't want to buy them, and I don't have access to the local libraries, being a foreigner. And a question for Kenderlyn...or more like a comment - I'm guessing you're a Dragonlance fan too :) Raistlyn Majere --- Woodlark wrote: > yes. > one little singaporean here. > > this is my first posting (aghast!). i'm not quite a > newbie on the list > (been lurking in the shadows for 2 years..), but i'm > just a little sheep, > so keep mainly silent. > > *sigh* > Owlknight hasn't reached stores in singapore yet.
