(I was so happy when I got in, I cried.)Seriously, it's unranked, and everyone has their strong and weak suits, but they for the most part try to help each other and they're like a big family...I realized that while reading BB, and figured out why the school appealed to me. Isn't that sweet? and now, before I get TOO sappy... ~Song (Nuri-chan) BB SPOILERS!! S P O I L E R S P A C E I read BB while I was at CIT...first off, did anyone else notice the awful editting? Methinks someone may have become a little too depedant on spell check...aside from that, I thought the book was really morbid!! I mean, Lan is pretty much shut out or abused ever since he moves to the city (which means throughout the entire first half of the book) and then his lifebonded Companion dies, leaving him in misery and pain and then he kills himself...yeah, okay, I know it was for a noble cause and all, but still...YEESH! I think what we may be disliking about her YA style is that she doesn't write as much about romantic or sexual relationships...in all the books people tend to love, there is some king of relationship like that. In O- and BB, there isn't really any hard-core stuff.
