TAZ said: Yeah, Warrl was great!! Such an incredibly dry humor, but I think I liked his Not-so-famous-cousin Rhis even better" I love Warrl! And Rhis, and all the Kyree! They're definately my fave non-human characters. I also love (aargh, brain freeze) the little lizard people who take care of the Talaydras, I can't remember what they're called! And I call myself a fan.... But I loved the story about them in Sword of Ice, where they act as matchmakers and set up the Blacksmith and the scout. =] I like characters with a sense of humour... well, peppermint sheep to all! wind to thy wings, Lady Ember ----------------------------------------------- FREE! My colleague Helen will be monitoring the list processor to make sure it doesn't fall over in that time -- or, if it does, that it revives -- but please have patience with any snags while I'm away. I've been quiet for awhile... but this fave non-human character thread pulled me out of hibernation. ;) >From: Cariad >I love Warrl! And Rhis, and all the Kyree! Which I like a great deal. Also, in one of the short stories in Oathblood (I think in the one where Leslac is first introduced) I loved the little blurb about Waarl having a sweet tooth and wanting honey on his bread. :) It was so cute and human... and, like I said, quirky. :) >I also love (aargh, brain freeze) the little lizard people who take >care >of the Talaydras, I can't remember what they're called! The hertasi, of course! :) They're great too... Hey, didn't they also (well, sort of) play matchmaker for Elspeth and Darkwind in 'Winds of Fury'?
