I'm a big Lackey fan. I started reading for the same reason. I saw horse on the cover of Arrow's of the Queen and started to love Lackey books. I believe I was chosen by my "companion". I was at an auction and I saw her. I took a ride on her and like companions, she is fast. After that, she let no one ride her except me. I got her and I felt a bond with her the second my bid was final. She is a black and white paint. Her name is Kali. I am more of what would be a Shin'a'in warrior. She is my warsteed(she can fight), I am an awesome horse person, and I can also fight good with a sword.
