Misty said years ago in QO that the wingrider was  the Adept Manifestation of 
the heir of Valdemar and that after he escaped the manifestation appeared 
with broken chains and became the symbol of Valdemar

So Darshay is the Companion? I always thought he was, because of the verse
"sings back the magic to Windrider's hands". Companions don't have hands,
so...yeah. Well, I've had the song in my head lately, but my She'enedra has
my Vanyel books and I don't have the words, so if some kind, wonderfull
person would like to privately e-mail me the lyrics, it would make me very
happy^^. I was thinking about maybe performing that or "Sun and Shadow" for
Coffeehouse here at school.
Songjewel says hi, but she's taking a nap right now, so my personality took
over.
