Not Listproc, which is what this list uses (this has been asked before). However, I plan to switch software in the New Year to one which will do that (and other useful stuff besides) If people want to filter list mail from other mail, then any of the headers below will be consistent: X-Comment: Mercedes Lackey Mailing List Originator: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk >From mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk [with a date suffixed] Cheers Mel ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 18 Dec 2000 08:39:59 -0600 From: "Howell, Tommy" To: "'mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk'" Subject: Infant Baptism Message-ID: <5BA8DB8D54C4D3119956009027DE50C60E9FED-+AT+-tdmnmail.tdmn.belo.com> Hi, This event caught my eye and I thought all of you might find it interesting. I was at church yesterday and a lesbian couple was having their infant baptized. The baby's name was printed in the bulletin as "Valdemar". His middle name was hispanic, but the last name was more eastern European. The pastor pronounced it "Vlademar" so I wasn't really sure. I didn't have a chance to meet the parents either. I receive the messages in digest form, and have the filter set to the "from" liner. It sends mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk into a separate file. It has worked for me this year or so that I have been reading. Speaking of reading, does anyone have any idea where I can find Brightly Burning? I haven't been able to find it around here, and don't want to go online. Maybe somebody knows when it is due to come out in mass market? Also, I have to say, while I have your eyes so to speak, that I enjoy reading the digests. I don't post generally, but do enjoy reading. ===== *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Love is an act of faith." ~ Rita Mae Brown *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? We have even had 3 different Kings named Valdemar, all 3 of which have been some of the greatest kings in Danish history. I also think it's used in Germany, but I'm unsure about that. I've found it in almost every bookstore I've been to, or they are waiting for their order to come in. Granted, some of these are major chains here in the U.S., but some of them are local stores. I'm not sure when it's coming out in paperback; it's only available in hardcover right now. And to the subject of the "maybe mis-print" of the name "Valdemar" on the baptism announcement... Maybe the priest was very unfamiliar with that name, and had heard of "Vlademar" before, so said it the way he knew it?? lol IIRC, in my travels through libraries, I thought I'd read somewhere that there actually had been a king(s) named "Valdemar" in our world... Possibly in Europe somewhere??? Correct me if I'm wrong... Not too remote a possibility, I assure you! ===== ---<---<---<----+AT+- Li'nia Stormdancer -+AT+---->--->--->--- Peon to the Powers That Be, Goddess of All Things Possessed, & Caretaker of the Arena of Discussion and Dissention __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
