I am sorry, didn't make myself clear enough...mass market, as in paperback. I guess if it is just out in hardcover, though, then it will be about a year, as that is the usual time lapse. Thanks for the answer. ===== *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Love is an act of faith." ~ Rita Mae Brown *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yes, Daw/Penguin has it scheduled to come out in paperback in May 2001, which is exactly a year after it was published in hardback. However the SFBC version is already out. Odd that, as they usually come out the same time as the paper version. Correct me if I'm > wrong... Not too remote a possibility, I assure you! I don't know if there ever was a -real- King Valdemar, but the name is out of Russian mythology. Okay: I'm never any good at the "she walked into the great hall, looking around her in awe, paying much attention to irrelevant things like the thick tapestries on the wall and the rich costumes of the courtiers around her, and very little to the sorts of things she probably should have been paying attention to, like just how slippery the reeds lining the floor were, and whether it was just a lump of reeds immediately in front of her underfoot or an innocent sleeping dog that might be very unhappy if it were to be tripped over." So -- I'll just say that this list has been wonderful, and everyone has really been very sweet about not only answering questions that I'm sure have come up a million times, and making it seem as if they were just panting by the computer praying for such a question that they could answer, but also simply being friendly and helpful, and basically making me feel quite at home. But one person who has been especially kind and friendly is Lightsong, so I'd like to pass the friendship ring on to her. Okay. End speech. Happy holiday sheep to you all.
