I'm sick today, bundled up by the comp... I was having these really weird dreams last night, and when I woke up, I had to concentrate on other stuff so I wouldn't hallucinate (A side effect of my personal sickness) and I wondered what companions would be like if they were created modern-day... they wouldn't be as essential for speed anymore... I personally thought something along the lines of a mastiff or some such... Like I said, I've been sick, so if this question makes no sense, just tell me. :O) Bye, list-sibs! I regret to say that we of the F.B.I. are powerless to act in cases of oral-genital intimacy, unless it has in some way obstructed interstate commerce. - J. Edgar Hoover "Ever notice that 'What the hell' is always the right decision?" - Marilyn Monroe "Justice will only be achieved when those who are not injured by crime feel as indignant as those who are." - King Solomon "Pardon me while I have a strange interlude..." -Groucho Marx "Oh, well. She's dead. Let's move on, shall we?"- Willy Wonka ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 31 Dec 2000 12:18:10 EST From: Timedancer0624-+AT+-gateway.net To: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk Subject: Re: Greetings Lackey fans Message-ID: <6c.6726e2b.2780c452-+AT+-gateway.net> **teeth chattering from being Splooshed** It is REALLY cold here and we are under over (under/over?) anyway we have over 2 feet of snow so I am doing a lot of reading. And rereading. Bedlam's Bard started out as Knight of Ghosts and Shadows and Summoned to Tourney. The SERRAted Edge is also part of that only about different beings. I couldn't get in to the Black Swan either Sarah and I tend to inhale everything ML has written. For some reason I couldn't get past the middle of the book. I think I kept comparing it to the ballet Swan Lake and it was too distracting. Thanks for the welcome but could it be a little drier next time? They would have to be small enough to get into a vehicle and big enough to be a help fighting & such... Or maybe not, with all the technology... (Assuming you mean our world) They would probably be more specialized, I think. Like different animals, even. To complement their people... But that would be a zoo. Hmmm... Let's stick with horses. Interesting picture, though. Sara, Who likes her equine 'Companion' just fine. You have not even to risk the adventure alone, For the heroes of all time have gone before you. ~Joseph Campbell __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
