Yes, the covers are ugly.  And just because I want to
vent, has anyone noticed that the ink from Baen books
rubs off very easily onto fingers? It's annoying, and
smears the pages.  But the books are affordable, I
suppose. Sorry, that's not list business really.

On an entirely new subject . . . How long is a Valdemaran year? I'm a bit confused about it, if you'll look at the timeline . . . And if its, say, longer than one of our years, a sixteen-year-old there might really be in his thirties here. Which brings up questions about lifespan.
