Winds of Change only two, that's because at the time of release 2 out of 3 were on paperbacks, can't afford hardbacks yet. l'm still crazy about the Adventures of Tarma & Kethry, as Tarma is my favorite character out of all of them. Amy says: <<(bought them all at once this time, since my library has one beat up copy of Silver Gryphon as its entire Mercedes Lackey collection, buying is my only option. Anyone else have this problem?)>> My library's pretty good...they have all the newer Mercedes Lackey books - all the Owls ones and Brightly Burning for sure. They *don't* have LHM...and neither did any of the bookstores around here, so it took me about a year to finally get my hands on the third one of the series. The same happened for "Oathbreakers"...I'll never understand my library, they can have like seven copies of "Oathblood" and not have either "Oathbound" or "Oathbreakers". They're also really good about only having the second book in a trilogy. : ) My mom's a librarian, so I'm allowed to make fun of our library... <> -Read it so you'll understand "Owlsight". I liked "Owlsight", it was a good summer book, light reading. I know I've read "Owlknight", but can't for the life of me remember what it was about! That says a lot, doesn't it? I would greatly reccomend both "Brightly Burning" and "Serpents Shadow" of the newer ML books, especially "Serpents Shadow". Just in case you cared... <> -Know this feeling! I'm a senior myself, in Ohio, and it's a scary thought, isn't it? <> -Thank you! *accepts AP test endurance sheep gratefully*. I took English Lit and Comp this morning, and am scared to death about European History this Friday...especially since I'm one of only two people in the entire school to be taking it... : ) And an ObMisty - thinking about the "Owl-" books, I realised that I've gotten very tired of the Talaydras...I'd much rather hear about the Shin'a'in. Do you think she'll ever write a book set amongst the Shin'a'in like she's done with the Talaydras? Also (This has absolutely nothing to do with anything) have any of you seen the movie "The Mummy Returns" that just opened last weekend? When the bird flew over to the guy with the tatoos (being deliberately vague so not to give away any plotpoints) I was like "Hey, look! It's a Talaydras!" and everyone looked at me like I was crazy and said to stop talking during the movie. ::sigh:: oh well!
