Near the end of Storms (Breaking, I believe), Vanyel,
Stefen, and 'Fandes came/were brought to Urtho's Tower
by way of Altra, the Firecat.  He Jumped (that's the
right ability?) up north to Sorrows and brought back a
piece of battered wood, a.k.a. Stefen's old lute.  The
three personalities helped out with old lore and
spells, and were washed away by the Storm in the end. 
Assuming they didn't completely cease to exist, which
is possible and even likely, I think they probably
went on to a well-deserved rest.

if anyone cares to correct or embellish, ...
