They are part of the Fairytale series, along with The Firerose, Firebird and Black Swan, according to a really old message in the archives somewhere. They are based on Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Black Swan and Firebird are set in a different time/world than the rest of the retellings. On another topic, Misty does have more SERRAted Edge in the works, Tempus Fugit for one. And I would guess that there is one more in the Bedlam Bardz series, since there is one more verse of the poem that hasn't been covered. Hope that helps, SPOILERSPACE for Beyond the Worlds End....... * * * * * * * 8 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Did anyone else find the plot boring and predictable, with a heavy reliance on Changling:the Dreaming for new characters? She seemed to have found all these neat new critters and wanted them all to cameo in the story. But she didn't develop hardly any characters at all. Even Eric and Rita seemed very 2 dimensional. Then she emphasized the Guardians, and the Gargoyle, but then didn't do much with them. There were several other elements that she did the same thing...a tantalizing emphasis, and then they weren't developed. Annoying... I'd heard about "Tempus Fugit", and am eagerly awaiting that title's release, whenever that is! lol Isn't that one named after a song by the group "Serrated Edge" or something? I can't remember for sure, but I'd thought there was going to be one title as a sort of tribute to the group that Misty has written some songs for... Don't flame me if I'm completely wrong though!! lol > SPOILERSPACE for "Beyond the World's End"....... > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > * > Did anyone else find the plot boring and > predictable, with a heavy reliance > on Changling:the Dreaming for new characters? I did find the characters to be a bit underdeveloped, although I did like some of the characters she introduced. It was nice to see other Guardians making an appearance, since we won't be seeing any other stories of my favorite Guardian, Di Tregarde. And I really did like the TV-loving gargoyle... lol I found the plot to be a bit confusing the first time I read it, and had to re-read it to get everything straight. I'm not saying it's complicated, but sometimes some people find a story to be a bit harder to get (I got Tolkien's books first-time round, and others don't, so... Does that make any sense???). However, I'm going to go have to read "Changeling: The Dreaming" to see if I can see the point made above, as that's one book I haven't found yet... Imagine that! lol Death-by-chocolate sheep to all!! ===== ---<---<---<----+AT+- Li'nia Stormdancer -+AT+---->--->--->--- Peon to the Powers That Be, Goddess of All Things Possessed, & Caretaker of the Arena of Discussion and Dissention __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
