If you have a faulty book it's always worth letting the publisher know, they
will generally replace it for you. I had a problem with an Elizabeth Moon
paperback which had the last three chapters missing :)

He's using AOL 6.0 which, unless they've changed it, doesn't let you
turn off HTML. Or so I've heard, anyway.
