Message-ID: I don't know if this did the rounds on the list or not, it was sent here directly. It contained an SCR file (supposedly a screen saver), entitled "sexy virgin.scr". Since a screensaver is a program that runs on your computer, it can contain malicious code. I'm always suspicious of unsolicited code - this is almost certainly a virus. Again, it got through hotmail virus scanners without qualm. Just thought I'd warn folks off. It contained an attachment called Fayette Doc 031101.xls.xls.lnk - notice that it's an lnk file, trying hard to make you think it's an xls spreadsheet. This is probably the sircam virus, but I'm not going to put it onto my hard drive in code form to check. Message-ID: This is definitely a virus. It went through my little bro's address book here a while back. It just sends itself out whenever the user is online. Does nothing to your hard drive just sends itself out to everybody in your address book and sometimes to anybody attached to an open email at the time it sends itself. It got caught by both Norton anti-virus and a store bought copy of MacFree (sp?). Also at work I have a web site that I think (if I remember correctly) will tell you what files and how to remove it if you did catch it. I will post it if I still have it.
