Has Misty written anything else with E/B/K yet? > No doubt someone knows the answer...? Theres in that series Beyond World's End, out in hardback in America now, out in paperback in December - amazon.co.uk here I come and Spirit's White as Lightning is out in hardback soon (forgot when) in America. The snippets are on the Baen website and trying to juggle my finances to afford any of them, I worked out that I've now got 6 Misty related books to buy the 2 above, the Skif book out next month (Take a Thief) the Alberich book which is out end of spring next year isn't it a new friends of Valdemar collection (check out the Baen Bar for the snippets, includes the Talia becomes a Sunpriest story) the master of somethingorother collection from Bill Fawcett thats going to have a Valdemar story in it. Its the end of September and already I'm praying for my birthday in March (days like this I wish my family celebrated Xmas). Any ideas what Velgrath book comes out after the Alberich one, last I saw Misty had said something about shelving the collegium series for a while, but I can't remember where I saw this. On an entirely unrelated note, if anyone has any good jokes or quotes about ageing could they email me off list. I need something relevant to middle age - elderly that I can use to illustrate the point that we all age at different rates, keeping in mind that this is for my thesis and that the people who sponsored me have quality not quantity as one of their mottos. I keep coming across things that are quite well insulting to the elderly, either obscene or elderly aren't worth valuing type thing. Speaking of the Firebird site, am I the only one having problems with graphics loading? I just read the snippet, and half the graphics didn't load. The other day I was looking at the auction items, or trying to - none of the pictures loaded, and I don't bid on things I can't see. I tried reloading, and sent an email to the auction address, but no reply and it doesn't look like the problem's been fixed, at least on my PC. Anyone else having that problem? I can only speak for myself; but I am having no issues with the firebirdarts.com website. BTW, there is one tiny bit that I missed in the snippet, that is underlined instead of italicised. Please pretend it's the latter and not the former. If you realise that I converted it all by hand before changing it to HTML, you might see how it happened... True. Barnes and Noble ( http://www.bn.com ) also lists it as available. And I work there, and *know* that they don't have any copies in their warehouses yet. Although the computer listing at work does say that it *should* have been released already. Amazon ( http://www.amazon.com ) says it will be released October 10th. Dunno. I sense confusion. ~Aurora --- "Dionne, Judith" wrote: > Heyla gentlebeings. > > FYI, the Science Fiction Book Club is listing "Takes > a Thief" as > available right now.
