Here's an interesting question for you.  How does a fanzine like this
resolve Misty's position on fanfic and other such things?  Submissions to
such a publication seem to violate this idea, at least in my mind they do.

I have based the zine's guidelines on the criteria Misty established for the
club "Queen's Own" regarding fan created characters and fiction. My
understanding is, as long as fanfiction does not use her characters as the
main characters, and is not something that will "damage the franchise", she
has decided to turn a blind eye.
