So Cymry has done duty as MO Companion? It was said (in AotQ I believe) that the grove born always give their chosen their name. That is a possible reason for the two appearances of Rolan. Other companions may give a different name or no name at all, let their chosen name them. Gwena is said to be still "young" so maybe the other three were at the founding? I know that there is not a whole lot of conversation in this e-mail but these are some points that I was hoping to get other's opinions on. Without using one-liners myself. Two points: 1) Cymry is Skif's Companion (I can't remember the name of Selenay's Companion off the top of my head); however, Selenay's Companion isn't Grove-born. The Monarch's Own gets a Grove-born Companion, but AFAIK the Monarch does not. So, Selenay's Companion isn't part of the MOC lineup. 2) If the four Grove-born Companions mentioned were the four MOCs, Gwena can't be one of of the rotation, because the MOC is always a stallion. Of course, it's possible there are only three MOCs, plus Gwena.
