"Under the Healing Sign" (book #2) is ISBN 0-441-00180-7. Book #1 has a kelly green back/spine and a Unicorn on the cover, book #2 is pale lavender with Centaurs and other creatures on the cover. So, we have Nick's two books for the "Reading list" under the category of "If you like Companions and Bondbirds, here are stories about magical animals." Any others for this section? Any other headings? (I guess Zenna Henderson would be under "If you like Elspeth's and Kethry's mage powers, here are stories about magical/mental powers.") Is there any other way we might want to state these headings? (I guess this means I'm volunteering to help create the additional reading list -- are we planning to add it to the web page?) --Tamra Heathershaw-Hart hart-+AT+-best.com http://www.best.com/~hart/ Hart Consulting: World Wide Web Design Services Technical Writing and Editing Mtn. Does anyone think we could come up with a master list of titles and authors for suggested reading . Everybody keeps mentioning names and titles and I can hardly keep track not to mention the wasted paper it would take me to print out all of the various me ssages about said books and authors. Maybe someone can volunteer to recieve suggestions and then compile a master list (yes seeing as I currently have some time on my hands for a while I would even consent) and then post it? My two cents worth of suggestion.---Tamra ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 20 May 1995 01:23:22 -0500 From: h-wilfehrt-+AT+-nwu.edu (Helen M. Message-ID: I don't know if anyone has brought up David Eddings yet, but he is one of my favorite fantasy authors (after Misty of course 8*) ). Right now I'm re-reading The Elenium and it's got amusing parts. And it's a pleasant twist on the knight who goes on a quest to save is princess/queen. The main character is anything but a knight in shining armor... Well I'm off again. Wind to thy wings and may you get your heart's desire. Can anybody tell me whatever happened to the Vanyel Fan Club? Haven't heard anything in quite some time. On another note, could we add Anne Rice to the list? I know that there is nothing related there with the subjects, but she is another of my favorite authors.
