With regards to her name...I think that she always WAS Patricia Kennealy Morrison in the books, except for the covers. In the books that I read, The Copper Crown, The Throne of Scone and the third one (Silver thorn?? something like that?) on the inside cover/page, where the copyright is, the author WAS listed as PKM although the cover only had her as PK. Are the covers now listing her as PKM? BTW, in the Doors film, was she mentioned at all? So could it be that the lifebonded all find it more comfortable to be with each other rather than hanging out with non-lifebonded folks? After all, Heralds find it more comfortable to be with other Heralds, so maybe we're seeing what seems like a large amount of lifebonded just because they all hang out together. Or it could be that Misty thinks of herself as lifebonded and so all the interesting characters she comes up with end up in the same kind of relationship -- when you're happy, you want everyone to be as happy as you are, so she may be writing that into her plots. --Tamra H. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 11 Jun 1995 19:28:11 -0400 (EDT) From: "Mickey Raymond, Systems Programer,CSC" To: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-vanyel.herald.co.uk Subject: Re: Other Books Message-ID: <950611192811.e27-+AT+-cscacs.csc.vsc.edu> E.Moon put out a book that is the "second" book to _Hunting Party_. Now that I am trying to remember it I can not. The charactors are the same, at least the main ones are. I was not as happy with this one. It was good but It fell a bit short on some of the charactors. E.Moon is good when it comes to military stuff. She also has a collection of short stories out. And i can not remeber the name of that one either. Well happy reading. Please excuse me if I repeated something any one else has already said. I am trying to catch up on my e-mail, and am still about two weeks behind. Have a look at and please let me know what you think - I hope *someone's* reading them :-). (P.S. I think I missed changing a couple of 'last updated' dates this time round :-)). (P.P.S. if anyone's in the unlikely position of having a web browser but no external access, I could mail you a uuencoded tar file of the stuff 8-). -- _|_ / | Jerry Cullingford jc-+AT+-crosfield.co.uk (Work) \_|_ jc-+AT+-selune.demon.co.uk (Home) \__/ Hemel Hempstead, UK jerry-+AT+-shell.portal.com (alternate) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 12 Jun 95 12:24:11 EDT From: TAMRA SPIELVOGEL To: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-vanyel.herald.co.uk Subject: Re: www reviews updated Message-ID: <9506121628.AA05205-+AT+-vanyel.herald.co.uk> Jerry, I atleast am one person who is reading the review page. I like the setup but where are you finding these reviews? They all seem so down on Misty. I understand that Winds was a little slow at times but they keep talking as if her writing is hardley worth the read. Maybe when I get back from my vacation I'll put together some reviews that are a little closer to my take on reality. Nice job though, I'lll check out the updates later on today.---Tamra S. ------------------------------ End of MERCEDES-LACKEY Digest 45 ********************************
