Don't know if anyone said anything- but AOL's stoopid email system WON'T let you leave the TO: SUBJ: or Body of letter empty- so, to get around it and NOT get the Majordomo or Listproc angry, simply make a space in the body of the email- that will allow AOL mail to let the email go thru- and NOT annoy the computer at the other end! This computer gobbledy-gook is getting me more and more confuzzled . . . . . . One thing? HOW do I put my mail from the list on PAUSE for a week? Next Monday I leave for a week at Dragon*Con, and if I DON'T halt my mail for a week, I will have a full email box, and set everything to bouncing! This is a modern version, with commentary, which might accidentally inspire thinking, but even the King James Version itself has graphic violence and sex in it, but they never want to burn it... WHat > is Canada Day? Is that like the 4th of July for us Americans? Basically. It's the day when Britain agreed to give us our independence rather than fighting to keep us under their firm rule. They should have done that south of the border too! :-) Too pompous at the time though! :-) :-) It is also the time of year when the Toronto Gay community celebrates Gay Pride Day. It's always on the first Sunday of July which just happens to fall near Canada Day and America's Independence Day. :-) Terry Toronto, Canada -----------------> Toronto Gay Pride Day Beats San Francisco's <-------------- -----------------> as World's Largest <-------------- ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Jul 1995 15:38:51 -0400 From: terryg-+AT+-blade.com To: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-vanyel.herald.co.uk Subject: Re: lackey f Message-ID: <9507041938.0RLNP03-+AT+-blade.com> > There is an 800# to request a cataloge but I cannot find it at > present. Lackey, "Oathbreakers" In Australia, we know Canada Day as Terry Fox Fun-run day. It's still being held and still raising money. Is it still going in Canada? Also, I've just realised that these holidays are in your summer. Australia Day is 26/1 (in our summer). Do you think all country anniversary-type days are held in summer?
