I hate book/music/video clubs, so I do plenty of special ordering through local bookstores. -jenneke I *am* family. How could I not have family values? Winnipeggers love to talk about the temperature extremes we live through. Our average winter temperature is about -20C before factoring in the wind chill which can lower a temperature by anywhere from 5-20 degrees. Our summers can also be extremely hot - we just finished a two week period of temperatures between 33 to 39C (this also included a humidex which raised the levels into the 40s). An example of our temperature extremes happened in early April when we went from -30C and snow - 7 days later - it was 30C above. THAT'S COLD? > Perhaps there should be a law requiring all Australians to spend a winter in > Canada! :-) I concur! and not in a southern (hence warmer) city like Toronto, (although I'm sure that Toronto's coldest and average will beat Wollongong's hands down (any Torontonians care to give the stats?) - try one of the colder cities, like Winnipeg (sp?) and Montreal!
