If I am remebering correctly in Winds book 3 when we first get introduced to Ancar's secret rooms and stash of victims doesn't he say something about storing power he gets from the people he kills? I'm in DC and my books are in NYC so I can't quote it but if someone would be kind enough to look it up we may get a solid answer. The passage also reffers to limits of the amount of power he can store and the fact that bits of power drain off naturally. I hope I'm making sense. Did anyone else think the index page was poorly layed out? Nah, don't shoot them. Its really not nice to shoot them. Personal opinion, they should reevaluate there page. They need to attach the first page to the the index. They need to have fewer pages; longer pages with more information on each page, rather than try to make it like their catalogue. They need to make a decision on the book covers. They either need to be large enough to be viewable, listed as a viewing option or not included. Lets cut them a little slack as this is their first page, clearly done by someone who is not very experienced at writing html docs. It sounds like it's at least partly at your end, Jerry. The list processor looks for new stuff every five minutes at the moment (to reduce the load on the system) and will also pause if various other things happen. But those two messages definitely went out in the right order from here. Occasionally messages will get jumbled in transit if there is a delay in getting them out from here to Demon, our ISP, which sometimes happens when the network is heavily laden, but seems to have been happening less frequently just lately (for a couple of weeks it was a near-daily experience for one reason or another). Basically, if you think you're having problems, mail me (not the list, for preference) and I should be able to give you some idea as to whether it's a problem at this end or not.
