Hey there all you Lackey nuts!

Did everybody go on vacation this week?  I can't believe that the list is so
quiet!  One of us usually has something to say about something.

I wish that I had some ML content but I don't.  Someone already beat me to
the fact that the new book with Marion Zimmer Bradley, Andre Norton, and ML
is now available in harback.

THe next book should be out fairly soon to satisfy the withdrawl we are all
expierencing.

Hope that you all are able to stay cool in another heat wave this summer.

 BTW, I am *annoyed*. I went to the bookstore, and they had 
Elvenblood <too bad hardcovers aren't in my budget <sob> <G>> but NO 
OTHER lackey books. I was ready to kill. Pointless post, I'm sorry, I 
just wanted to vent to people who could understand my frustration. I 
finally had money for TLHM, but TLHM was no where to be found...

 aaaaaaanyway, here's the repost:
  I've heard some people say they thought van whined to much. KILL 
THEM!!! <G> I was wondering if you guys agree. Personally, I thought 
he took life rather well. I mean, the poor guy saw his beloved throw 
himself off a building when he <van> was 15, then he has to spend the 
rest of his life, more or less, exhausted and lonely. At least he 
didn't curl into a ball and refuse to do anything... <yes, I know. I 
*do* think of odd things when I'm tired.>
 Do you think Leareth/Ma'ar had anything to do w/what happened to 
'Lendel? Van said he was killing off children and teens before they 
had real Gifts, and I know he was operating not long after that 
<Randale's cousin, who was a Herald-mage, died by slipping on some 
stepps, very suspicous, and it couldn't have been long after 'Lendel 
died> So maybe Ma'ar had something to do w/driving 'Lendel mad. 
 Also, did Leareth/Ma'ar attempt to kill Van that way? I know he did 
Sayvil and the other two Herald-Mages <who's names escape me>, so did 
he try for Van? Or did he know van was onto him? "cuz I seem to 
remember Van saying somewhere that he was stronger than the mage <who 
turned out to be Leareth> expected. 
 Also, do you think the Herald's forgetting magic was done by the 
Companions? Van said he did it, but he could've just told the 
Companions do it. It amounts to the same thing <and I'm assuming Van 
knows everything about Companions, etc. How else could he effectively 
guard Valdemar?>

Well, Storm Rising is out, not that it does me a lot of *&^##^ good, as none
of my bookstores here have it.  Well it looks like another triprip to 
Chapel Hill <about 30 miles away>.  I am getting the impression that ML 
is not PC enough for the people here:(

I think that somebody ( most likely David Eddings Fans (tm) ) are holding 
them hostage.

away from the terminal, and before the doors close you over hear ...
