Things get resolved a little quickly in some cases, though, and other things are not treated in the depth I wish they would have been. Still, it's a MUCH better book than The (crappy) White Gryphon... It would be fun to discuss it, but that would probably be rude, seeing as how most people are saying they haven't gotten/finished it yet...
