That's a lot of books each week. Even if you whittle it down to fiction and popular non-fiction, NO bookshop can carry everything. The owner/manager has to make a choice based on his experience and local demand. Qualification: if the book is at all interesting and not particularly "convoluted", which Mercedes' books tend not to be (well not in the backwards / forwards / crossreferencing ways like Terry Pratchett!)
