Also, that Cold Blade might have used what the mage who'd attacked Vanyel did; had a fellow mage do his spell for him and not used any magic once he got into Valdemar. >You'd think the mage defenses would hold up until the magestorms took them >>down? Vanyel took them down because enough mages battering and distracting the vrondi might scare them off. It would be noticed, yes, but help was already on the way in the form of Elspeth, Firesong, and Darkwind. *gryn* -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > >Kimber(doodle)y wrote re: fuzzy bunny song > >>Grrrr. > > All in good humor, m'lady... (Okay, so I'm a sucker. I admit it *gryn* And a pushover. Oh well...) A Barney duel, however, would be like a war where each victory; means losing the same amount of men on your side to match that of your nemesis. *giggle* It gives me a headache just thinking about it... no thanx... Gods, I hope so. I always miss out on the short stories and I had no idea what any of you were talking about when you mentioned Alberich in _Stolen Silver_ Oh, and I want Misty to do something to really explain Skif stealing Cymry. Talia and Elspeth have to get features, of course, and Misty *has* to have at least four fingers in the Anthology pie! Don't you think?? I want her to collaborate with Jennifer Roberson (*anyone* but Ellen Guon and Holly Lisle again. Or Larry *devilish gryn* She always did so much better by herself... except with Anne McCaffrey, where I think she did a real tear-jerker job on _The Ship Who Searched_) I want a BIG picture of Vanyel, a GOOD picture, and I ant a hufe feature on him. And oh, all right one on 'Lendel and Stef, too. *gryn* And Firesong and Darkwind. And Dirk and Kris and Selenay, too. And... Danya, what are you hiding from us?! Karal? Firesong? What?! (can you tell I've hit the point where the strong tea and sugar have hti a high in my system, or what, eh? *insane laughter*) OH!! Auntie Undie (no pun intended, I don't intend for my froggie, wonderful friend to go about being called "Aunt Underwear"... *mischievous gryn* or maybe so) your humour was great! *superhug* I just finished looking through the first one (the vampire, 28K post.) a few minutes ago and the unsubbing thing was exactly what I used to think of my computer in general.... Authors: Hmm, Anne McC, maybe; I'd bet on a fair number of female authors, so who've we got--MZB's worked with Misty on the S&S anthos, there's one; Katherine Kurtz? doesn't go for non-Earth based fantasy much; C. J. Cherryh, maybe; Anne Rice, obviously (YEAH RIGHT!!!)...
