This takes place after the events in Storm Breaking, and features a new character, a Hawkbrother scout who has a owl bondbird. The border, as ever is a chaotic place to live, and makes life very interesting." So, though it's about Tayledras, and has an owl bondbird, it's not about Wintermoon. First off, she didn't say anything in rehearsal, and skipped right over that movement. Then, during the break, i told her, "I'm not asking what it is, I just want to know if you've made a decision yet." She said she had, and i'd know tonight. By the end of rehearsal, she still hadn't said anything, and called a meeting of the executive, mentioning something about solos in it. I went up to her and asked her yes or no. She made noncomittal noises. I asked her that if i waited outside, if by the end of the meeting she'd have a decision for me or would still by deciding. She relented and said i could wait outside. While i was waiting, slowly going crazy, i walked into the neighbooring room (which wasn't being used) and played the only Enya i know on the piano. Then, one of the people told me they would see me. I walked in the room, and everyone was acting very intimidating. The director said, "We've decided to hire professionals." I looked dissappointed, and said , "shucks. Well, what kind of professionals?" keeping my tone light. Everybody cracked up by then, and she said, "You got it. Go home." TADA!!!!! It was worth the two weeks of waiting. I also have to shut up now, because deniz has a Chem midterm tomorrow, and needs her sleep so she can study tomorrow (did that make sense?). And Dax, deniz is sorry about reassigning Carrach to rainwood, she made a mental note (let's see how long *that* lasts) about it, and won't mix you all up again. love, free bard woodlark, Acolyte in |Et j'aime la nuit ecouter les etoiles. Send an e-mail to listproc-+AT+-herald.co.uk with a blank subject line and with either UNSUBSCRIBE mercedes-lackey or SIGNOFF mercedes-lackey in the message. The reason you were getting this mail is because somebody who has access to your e-mail account (i.e.: they know your password or got on the computer before you had logged off and you weren't on it), and they sent a message subscribing you to the list. The other possibility is that somehow Vanyel (the list proccessor machinery) is acting up again, and somehow adding addresses to the list. It really evil to have list subscriptions that way. I wonder how many Xtians got subscribed to Satanism lists and such. Message-ID: Oh, Wintershard, I'm sorry! I didn't realize you were a demon, not a god - I just found the reference in an old list post. (Gosh I hope I got this right. If I didn't I will feel _extremely_ foolish...) Anyway, I wanted to thank you for the wonderful little flurries this morning around 10:00. They were *sniff* beautiful. I didn't expect my prayers to be answered so promptly...(then again as Co-High Priestess of Procrastination, why should I expect _anything_ to get done promptly? ) I have a rather curious request to make of all you listmembers. (Is that supposed to be two words?) Anyway, I digress. I'm in a class at the U. of D. about the Holocaust. For my final report/project I am designing a concert as a memorial to the victims/survivors of the Holocaust. (This will not actually be performed as a concert, but I am going to record a couple of the songs for my teacher's/class's benefit - I sing Soprano II and play clarinet.) I am starting to look for songs that were written during the Holocaust, by survivors, about the Holocaust, anything of that nature. If anyone knows of any appropriate songs, could you let me know? You can post to the list or e-mail me privately at . Thanks a bunch! You know, I've never enjoyed doing reports - even fun project type ones, but I find myself really looking forward to this one. Oh no! My dear god, Mat, forgive me for I have sinned! I just realized that by even thinking about this project now, I have failed in my duty to procrastinate! (It isn't due until Dec. 5!) Oh forgive me, Great One, my passions overcame me! Will it be enough to say that 21 days is an extremely short time to find and learn and record several songs? Hopehopehope! > Renee finds herself praying (to Mat, of course) that he will be melted by the genuine pleading look in her oh-so-aborable puppy dog eyes and grant her forgiveness. Pretty Please? Thanks to all those who cleared up the "rude people" problem for me. I had begun to wonder if someone had taken a dislike to me! Glad to know that's not the case - I hope... ObMisty: Uuuhhh... Esp. the one that was raised by Yeah, I've always wondered what happened to them. Remember the one that was Brightstar's twin? I always wondered what happened to her. I mean, in the Arrows trilogy, Misty makes a big deal out of Keren and Teren being twins. I always thought that maybe she might do something with that. Also, I got to like Brightstar from the one scene he was in in MPrice. I think that he's the one that Firesong is descended from. I wish I knew a little more about him.
