Okay, well, here's my thoughts for the day: The Last Straw: Okay, thanks to whoever mailed the whole page to the list (can't remember who, and I've got an itchy delete-finger, it's contagious, I think), I finally got to read the thing. I have to say that I think Misty's got a lot of guts to post that, but I think it was mainly a lot of ranting because the people that are going to go to the Firebird page and actually read it are generally going to be her FANS. Now, while that may accomplish telling her fans why the DT series is not going to be continued, it actually does little else except tell us what's going on. Don't get me wrong, that's NOT a bad thing. But I think the people who really need to read it are the people who caused that major reaction in the first place; the people who, unfortunately, would never read it anyways. However, I DO think that her reaction is perfectly understandable and justified. Anyone who really cares about other people, especially children, could understand that. In fact, I will say that if Misty has been getting these threats and what-not, that she is doing the right thing by ending the DT series. (Of course, I haven't read any of them, so I don't know much about them anyways) Maybe she IS just ranting and venting a lot of negative emotion, but better in a web-post than elsewise, y'know? Ummm...StoryLines wanted: I know, this was a while back, but I agree with whoever it was that said they'd like to hear about the Tedrel wars and Selenay's early years. Selenay has always been one of my favorite characters, and I've wondered how it is that she came to be who she is. Would also like to know first-hand about Solaris' promotion to Son of the Sun. We have Karal's version, but what was happening to her? And what about Iftel? I vaguely remember something about Iftel being in SB, but I can't remember much from that. Anyways, that's about ALL we know. So what's the deal with the country? Inquiring minds want to know! =) Oh, Barbies!: I finally went and took a look at the Barbie page. Personally, I think that the clothes for the dolls is a good idea. I loved Barbie as a kid, but I don't think I've been totally warped by the doll. Yes, I know their figures could use a little work, but overall, when I was young, I never really thought about it. I knew that she wasn't real, so it didn't matter what she looked like. (Though it did irritate me that she couldn't sit right on a horse... But, alas, I ramble) Okay, methinks I've bored you all enough for today. Please, please, someone post?!
