Um, nothing. I think I meant Talia had no experience with companions or mindspeech prior to being chosen. Actually she had little exp with anything other than kids and house/farm chores, did she not? > > Talia doesn't have mindspeach, if you remember. Though she is a very > STRONG empath. So her understanding of mindspeech of other heralds/companions comes from her being an empath, not that she has mindspeech of her own. I could have sworn she had some, but I guess it was just empathy? -- Individual e-mail reply mailto:cundiffg-+AT+-evansville.net Discover Mesker Park Zoo http://www.evansville.net/~mpzoo mailto:mpzoo-+AT+-evansville.net Uncover an Official Bottom 95% Web Site http://www.evansville.net/~cundiffg/prequel.htm ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 Apr 1997 08:56:35 CST From: Sera To: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk Subject: Female Mercs and Hair Message-ID: <14714B07D5-+AT+-email.rosary.edu> Ailsa wrote: > ObMisty: Does anyone know how Kero and other female mercs manage to > keep their > hair out of the way? I used to have hair that went 1/2 way down my back and I learned how to do this because I played basketball and tennis. Granted a few strands will always escape, but most of the time is stays put. Another factor that really helps is the thickness of the hair. I have EXTREMELY thick hair and sheer thickness of it and the fact that so much of it is overlapping helps to keep the plait from falling apart too much. Well, that's my opinion on the hair deal if they keep it long. They do have the option of cutting it though, but I think that would almost be harder at times because depending on the shorter length because it can fly in your face, but that just my opinion. I finally cut my hair to chin length because it was too thick and hot, but that's just me...
