I am doing much better, thank you. I am off most of the painkillers. Some people have said that all the get wells are takeing up space, so please send all messages to Crystal(as she has been drafted by me) so the people are happy. By the way, I am a 17 year old girl(most defentaly a girl). I have been called both sexes, so I am staighting things out. OK. Someone asked me who Sulena was. She is my Red-winged bondmate. How many people here are from out of the US. And how much later does the books come out there than out here. Ailsa, you are not the only one who is getting the junk at the end of Crystal's messages. Is the stuff at the end of her's to you coherent, they aren't to me. Oh by the way, I have finally read Vows and Honor. It is so good. It was the first place that I have heard of in her books that a demon(or anything) has become a demi-god.Could a regular mortal do that. And Kerthy has had everythinng propose to her, from a theif(I think), to a demi-god. And thank you whoever said that I have added a new element to the list. I am thinking about seeing if I could add a page to the Heraldic Circle, so who ever can give me info on that, please do. It will give me something to do. Does anyone know when the list of new goddesses and gods will come out. Nightdancer Mindmate of Sulena Breeder of Bondbirds P.S. Let's see... fantasy isn't very popular here, especially in the south, so you have to plead and beg to get anything at all, but I'd say about a year, sometimes more. It takes at least seven months for a translation. Misty books can not be found anywhere south of Stockholm - translated or otherwise. But in Stockholm there's the *best* bookstore I've ever seen (US, England, or Sweden). It has all her books. It has all fantast/SF books period. But it's about as far to get to Stockholm from here (Helsingborg) as it is from L.A. to San Fransisco, so I don't get to go that often. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Apr 97 15:33:00 PDT From: Shidrati Binte Ali BEMSA To: mercedes-lackey Subject: RE: Listsibs/books/countrys Message-ID: <3366775D-+AT+-nusnetgw1.nus.sg> Singaporean, here.......island of food paradise. **************************************************************** Is Vows and Honors same as Oathbound and Oathbreakers coz if it ain't, I haven't seen any? One has to wonder if that was > "improved" when they were being created by the mages. But there was! I just finished 'Winds of Fate' yesterday and there was some discussion about the ages of the bondbirds... how scriech-owls (or something like that) were relatively short lived although their lifespan had been augmented somewhat by the mages who created them. On the other hand, the larger birds (I don't remember what species exactly) were said to live as long as 50 to 70 years... and that was also augmented by mages. This was mentioned somewhere around the middle of the book, where Darkwind and his halfbrother (Wintersomething?) discussed how he was able to hunt in the dark by using his bondowl's eyes. Anyway... wouldn't it be great, if all the Tarma&Kethry stories published in MZB's 'Swords and Sorcery' anthologies were gathered together and published in one collection. I for one am dying to read about how they originally met each other... those stories were in S&S IV and V, I think. As I have understood, there's one tarma&Kethry story in almost every S&S anthology, so they would nicely make one big volume if published together.
