It's very well established that Heralds re-incarnates as Companions. So pointing out the case of Savil as Sayvil doesn't put any new light or new 'evidence' to the subject. The original question was whether Companions re-in as Heralds. And in the case of STORMS BREAKING S P O I L E R Florian, the handsome Mage was saying that there's no evidence that *all* the Companions come back as Heralds. He wasn't saying that *Florian* didn't re-in as Herald, but rather that it might be the exception rather than the rule. IMNSHO, I think all Companions do re-in as Heralds, but there *aren't* textved evidence. S P O I L E R ******************************************************************** Okay. Someone asked what's Velgarth. It's the world Valdemar and all other countries are located on. Like I am in USA on the planet Earth. ******************************************************************** Candlemarks. This is very interesting since the Chinese in the older times uses incense as time marks. I think the Valdemarians have the technology to make uniform candles to tell the time. But this is MNSHO, and I don't have any textved. So that's that. ********************************************************************* Can't think of anything else. Life is good, I managed to get myself to Malm=F6 (an hour by = train ride) and order MPrice. It came in yesterday, and I went off = to get it. Now I've got it, and I'm on p.281 (DAW PB, and I know it = sounds like I'm reading at a snail's pace, it's because I want to = draw out the feeling of suspense), and Stef and Van just been = ambushed on their way north. I don't know if this question is = answered later, but Van's thinking and says something about Jisa not = being Choosen because the Companion that would be hers is already = bonded to Shavri. Now, would someone please explain that to me? I = thought that the youngest Companion, or whichever one was free, = bonded to the newest Heralds. And how can they know ahead of time = who Jisa's Choosen will be?? If this is explained further on in the = book, then no one needs to answer. But don't you think it's weird? A = Herald waiting for a Companion's Choosen to die so that they can bond? Puzzeled, Zhai'helleva Issica Baron Knight of the O.O.P.S. Knight O.A.M. (if nobody objects..) One more thing, very fluffy, I was looking in a history book the = other day and I read about this cool Swedish king ruling from 1250 - = 1275 whose name was Valdemar. /{\ Elven Knight at Fairgrove -+AT+-=DF=DF=DF{-+AT+-}=DF=DF=DF}::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::> \{/ ------------------------------ End of MERCEDES-LACKEY Digest 1235 **********************************
