Okay, this is not a flame but might sound like one.  This has no facts to 
back it up.  Sure, the Emperor wasn't potraited in the best light, but to 
say that he would turn to blood magic and force everyone else to is 
insane.  First off, we've already seenthat not all of the mages are evil. 
 In fact, I'd say that most aren't.  The magic will come back to the land 
and blood magic will not be needed on that level.  However, it is 
possible that the Emporer and a few mages will resort to blood magic, but 
the whole country will not.

No, I'm not aware of any non-fiction written by Misty. 
I'm sure they would be available through Firebird and I check their site
frequently.

I don't think anyone reaponded to the riddle from a couple of days ago.
Oh Nightdancer, that riddle is easy.  At least it is for one who memorized

Now, let's think this over.  I think RT was simply assuming with all the
nodes gone that there would no longer be magic "as we know it".  But no doubt
there will be some kind of legitimate magic that will not be as evil as we
all know blood magic to be.  
Anyone have any ideas??

Most of the friends I introduce to Misty books, I start on Arrows of the
Queens, because not only is that the first Velgarth book Misty wrote, but
you learn about the whole heraldic system along with the main character
(Talia). I would have been lost if I hadn't read that first.

do not doubt they will be delicious)

I have not as yet read Storm breaking but plan to pick it up sometimein the
near future, but I get the gist of what has gone down....could it perhaps
be possible that the land has returned to the way it was before the
original cataclysm.  With magical energies mearly being everywhere at once,
not limited to nodes and ley lines.

my point of veiw 2 I think you have missunderstood me, I never clamied facts-
_I Think_  means its my thoughts/opinions/impressions i'm expresing. And i
didnt say he would _force_ everyone to to turn to blood magic( and I don't
think he could)  I said that I thought he would _use_ them for his blood
