I suppose I would have to say LHM, specifically MPromise. First Misty I ever read, and still the best...as far as characters, I would say somewhere between Dirk and Leareth, the former because I see a lot of myself (sort ov) in him, and the later because...hey, you gotta respect a classy bad guy. *L* Alright, having said my piece, it's back to padded cell with me...goodnight, folks....*shrug* Ámp the C-+AT+-t, ~flying thu the air with a complete lack of anything even remotely resembling grace~ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 28 Sep 1997 13:44:34 PDT From: "Corinne Kays" To: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk Subject: Re: LHM/Bardic/SB/Question Message-ID: <19970928204435.17532.qmail-+AT+-hotmail.com> >Date: Sun, 28 Sep 1997 20:15:34 +0100 (BST) >Reply-To: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk >From: Stephen Ross >To: makochanda-+AT+-hotmail.com >Subject: Re: LHM/Bardic/SB/Question > >> the Whites meant. He was living in a family where the only person who actually loved him was his sister. He _had_ to concentrait more on himself just to _survive_. And I never once noticed him being whiney _except_ in MPromise & it was only because he was completely exhauted from being on the front lines & even then he realized what he was doing & apoligized. BTW, you don't have to be self centered &/or whiney if you don't want to be. I for one try very hard not to be like that. >>So that would make Van in his... um34... If he didnt have some emotional issues, his charecter would have been as uninteresting as moondance and Starwind. A powerful mage, sure of his every step, his mistakes neglegable.
