My computer broke down and all of your webpages that I have bookmarked are gone! Could you kindly send all of those addresses to me or on the list? Here is just a little thing I noticed: In one of the Sword and Sorceress anthologies, Idra from Idra's Sunhawks is called Ydra. :) Savarana Sappharine ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 29 Nov 1997 15:31:10 -0800 From: Deniz Sarikaya To: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk Subject: MIST: Webpages Message-ID: <3.0.5.32.19971129153110.007fb330-+AT+-po-box.mcgill.ca> Savarana wrote: >My computer broke down and all of your webpages that I have bookmarked are >gone! Trust me, it will *not* be taken with good humour. Now, if you do it tastefully, like including it in your sig at the end of a regular post to the list with a little note at the end giving explicit permission for Listsibs to link, I don't think anyone will have any complaints. Otherwise, e-mail it to her privately at Ashali9928-+AT+-aol.com About the Idra Ydra thing, where were the people from/what language where they speaking? Maybe each is a common name in one language, so they get pronounced as the other, like Paul got pronounced Pwyll in GGK's Fionavar Tapestry :) (P.S.: please don't link to my page without e-mailing me *privately* first) love, Deniz Sarikaya, High Priestess of | When it is May, Procrastination, Counselor of MIST, | If May return -- Holy Custodian of the B-Day List, Dame | Has nobody a pang of the OoAM, Bower Champion, Demon of | Lest on a face so beautiful Deceitful Aliases, Lady of the Seas, | He might not look again? There was no good reason for Misty to change the spelling. (Except that maybe she likes the way it looks with a Y?) I am basing this on pure fact, and I am an excellent authority in this one (singular) area. My name, Yvonne, is actually pronounced Eve-onne, but it looks kinda dumb spelt that way. It's french too, and I think that that is a major pronounciation cause. But I do agree with the prounouncein 'Ilsa', but I always thought that Idra was pronounces 'Eedra'. I know that it isnt spelt that way, but this IS after all my IMHO. I dont believe that anyone answered my last question. I asked if you were part of QO would you be legally allowed to write fanfic? I would really like to know, and I'd be much obliged if someone would help me out! :) WTTW, Yvonne Shadowshape, bondmate to Chiti, Chosen by Korla Goddess of Kelpies, Selkies, and other Water-Borne Knight of Fluff (the origonal) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 29 Nov 1997 21:06:10 -0800 From: Sorana Shadowcat To: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk Subject: QO fanfic Message-ID: <3480F442.51D-+AT+-olypen.com> Heyla all! dprono-+AT+-planet.eon.net wrote: > asked if you were part of QO would you be legally allowed to > write fanfic? Yes, but you have to send them a SASE for a release(?) form. Then you send the (filled out) form to Misty with the story. ObMisty: Anyone have any ideas why Vanyel wasn't Chosen, before he was blasted open (aside from the fact it probably would've killed the story)? I mean, he already had a little bit of foresight when he was haven, before getting together with 'Lendel.....At least it sure sounded like foresight.
