(Of course, actually lucid dreaming is cool too. And if surprisingly easy...) First fantasy book I remember... The books by Tamora Pierce about a girl named Alanna, and a series of bookes by someone whose name I can't remember set on the moon and about a girl and vampire. The first book was called _The darkangel_. I remember the Alanna books especially because my library didn't get them until about five years after I read them and went to work there so I could have clout in ordering. :) -Kathleen ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 14 Mar 1998 21:37:23 -0500 (EST) From: Kaki Notestine To: mercedes-lackey-+AT+-herald.co.uk Subject: Re: Shaych pronunciation/intro to fantasy/OOPS/Need Message-ID: > 'ch' pronounced as in 'Bach,' or else 'shy' with the same 'ch' > pronunciation. Last Thursday we went to the local mall, and I begged my mom and her boyfriend if I could please please please please go to the bookstore cause of those missing gaps i have in my Lackey collection and to get Oathblood, and there he was, back from Russia, and sitting right in front of the Lackey section! I didnt even know he was back!(i bought 4 books, for those of you who are interested~Crown of Swords, Dragonseye, WOChange-replacement-and Oathblood) So now every one in my family is saying little words like -ahem-fate and destiny, which i also, like Van, believe leads to glorious funerals....
