Taynar mentioned Misty's "paranoia against fancic", but does the publication of Sword of Ice indicate a lessening of it. I mean, she let others write about her world and edited it herself. I guess, if the "Friends of Valdemar" series continues, then we'll know. I wonder what you mean by this comment, I mean, it was proven in SB that Iftel was actually founded right after the mage wars, Valdemar took another 1000 years according to the timeline. Interesting thought. The countries we know the least about are the oldest. The Haighlei Empire predates the Mage Wars; Iftel right after; the Kaled'a'in/Shin'a'in/Tayledras predate (I know, we do know a lot about the K/S/T.); Valdemar, after; Rethwellan, Ceejay, Menmellith are all after. Karse I'm not too sure about. The physical location of it was established after it, but I'm wondering if the area they're in now was one where the followers of Vykandais (sp?) used to live before or during the MWars. It's possible the founding of Karse also followed the Mage Wars' conclusion. Of course, looking at the map of Tantara, it seems as if they would have to have been on the edge of Ma'ar's territory. Would the big V have poked his head into that and said his followers should help Urtho, I wonder. I thought I put it in my outbox, but evidently I sent it instead. anyway, to continue, In lovebonds there is no magical force holding two people together. It just seems more important to me that two people are together because they want to be and are willing to put the work in to be together, not because that have to be. (Disclaimer: I am a teenager and have never been in love before, so I'm just speaking theoretically.) Anyway, this was just my 2cents.
