Yes, but assumed that he was refuring to a certain level of ability; I don't think that someone of Journyman class or below would have that much trouble in that regarde Those with a stronger ability probly either Chosen, and which their companion takes care of them, or they're driven out of the country as I think Thistle said. ************OK, some short fluff*************** Shade, wishing she was as insustancel as her name, wrings out her braid. Thanks, I think;) Oh well, it's not that different from the weather around here lately; when it's not incredibly humid, some thunderstorm is dropping 3-5" of rain on our heads. Hm, too bad I can't send all this wetness farther south were it's needed. >"We have a door?!" exclaims Elsa increduously from the OIB firepit.< Why not? but then agen, I didn't mean to go around creating random archiologel features. (gryn) **************end of fluff************* And as for the "gosh he was cool" characters, well, I do have a list of charactures that I wish we heard more about (like Griffon). Somewhat along that line, has anyone else read the 3 SKitty short story in Catfantastics 1, 3 & 4? I'd personally love to read a full length novel about ship cats. Whew, done. I'd like to take my vehicle to be serviced by one of the dealerships in my area, but I want to make sure that I'm getting only what I need to have this done. Has anyone ever performed a tune-up on one of these vehicles themselves? Or does this require some "cost prohibitive" equipment that only a dealer's service department would have? In the paperback copy of WoF, Elspeth says those with the Gift tended to drift out of Valdemar and that most of the time, the Mage Gift was trained as FarSight. The answer I got came from Winds of Fury (I think someone already mentioned this, but I forgot who). In the paperback version, on page 204, Elspeth says that the Mage Gift was one of the rarer ones and most people who had it tended to drift out of Valdemar. For others, it was trained and identified as FarSight. This is just to clarify issues to Trevor and so that the rest of you know that your friendly Councilor of the day is looking into the matter. Trevor: It looks like you think this list has something to do with cars. Possibly Mercedes Benz, yes? Well, as someone else pointed out this is a list for the discussion of the works of Mercedes Lackey (also called Misty). She is a fantasy author. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that anyone here will be able to help with your problem. If anyone wants to do so however, that can be done off list. Now I leave you all to return to our regularly scheduled discussions =) Peace, Ele Councilor of Mist ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 25 Jul 1998 17:44:06 -0300 From: "Nelson Greenslade" To: "Misty" Subject: short post Message-ID: <01bdb80c$f75c94c0$LocalHost-+AT+-epzfbrwg> <> Yup.
