Think of the Di Tregarde series as Anita Blake with hippy connections. (See? I do live in a strange little world!) I personally loved it. Oh, and, um... *makes wards against Copyright Demons* I had to invent a band and give them two hit songs, one of which I had to write (music project last year). So I used the title 'Sacred Ground'. I honestly didn't base it one the story! It's the writer saying she doesn't want to talk about the past (her twin bro was killed) {she considers the topic 'sacred ground'; no trespassing} but her friend is making her, so .... that's the premise I wrote it on. But then after I'd presented and everything, I read it again and realized it 'does' sort of fit the book... <> Join groups! Or even 'explicit'. The torture scenes were explicit (sometimes) and the fights were usually, as well. I'd say the (consensual) sex scenes left most of it to your imagination. Usually I spared my mind the work and just had warm fuzzies that the characters were getting some comfort. But misty's books aren't all sex and violence; she puts a lot of emphasis on everyday life and human character. <> It's not ~that~ small a world... is it? Okay, here's a personal tidbit: I was up on the computer last night, and a little past midnight I got off my duff to let the dog in. I turned into the unlighted hallway.. and was confronted by a frightening, shambling figure which moaned upon seeing me!!! I was so shocked, I about had a heart attack!
