Sorry for the short post, but I knew I could answer this even > without my books. The suicidal and stable persons were an example given by Stefan to Skif and Nyara in WOFury. It was meant only as an example. Not to state that to have a lifebond one must be suicidal and the other stable. When Skif mentioned Talia, Stefan described Dirk (at least on the inside) For each person, who their lifebond would be (if there is one), depends upon what they are (for example the gifted but suicidal and the stable). He also stated that both need to be strong individuals or the weaker on would tend to be swallowed by the stronger (not literally). -- "Insanity takes its toll.....Please have exact change" "Where the hell are the singin' cats?" -- Paul Newman "Surely, you can't be serious!" Just read Ele note about Queen's Own and just wanted to let everyone know that there have been a couple changes made. First, Judith Louvis is no longer editing the newsletter. The new editor is Robin Ready. The news letter is changing its name. In the future it will be known as "Merging of the Ways" since IIRC, the new editor felt that this would more adequately encompass all of Misty's works, including nonValdemar material. The new address is: Queen's Own/Merging of the Ways PO Box 2549 Winnetka CA 91396-2549 There is also a e-mail address now: HrldSenshl-+AT+-aol.com Hope this was useful. I understand that fanfic is no. 1 on the list of "All things bad, nasty, and generally reprehensible" (wyrsa, magestorms, and Falconsbane are somewhere in there too) but what about fanart? Does anybody know a site with Lackey fanart (Velgrath-ian or otherwise)? I'd appreciate the URL(s), thank you. Oh, oh, I know the answer to this one! I just finished reading Arrow's Flight (for the 5th time) last night. Early in the book it states: The bond between them was easily as strong as the one Keren had shared with Ylsa-and had Ylsa lived, they might very well have formed one of the relatively rare, permanent threesomes. And later in a flashback, when Talia is talking to Sherill and Keren about lifebonds....and asks about the love and first sight, instant bond thing and Sherill says, "As a matter of fact (it happened) the very first time I set eyes on Keren." To me, this has double life bond written all over it. It also goes on to say, that unless its a lifebond, relationships between Heralds are seldom permanent.
