Well, it does depend on the pace. It's quite possible to ride for 20 
hours at a walk, and perhaps a little trotting, without foundering your 
mount, but everybody will be exhausted and sore at the end of it.

Untrue. Most of the members of my family have blue or blue-grey eyes and 
dark brown hair.

As for worship of the Star-Eyed in Valdemar--we've never been told of 
any longstanding priesthoods to Her, though it's possible she is 
worshipped under another name. She did tell Kethry that "I am but 
another face of your Lady Windborn." So... we can all draw our own 
conclusions.

Sunhawk looks around the Hall, and sees Sorana over by Elsa, who has her 
head in her arms.  She deftly weaves through the crowds to get across 
the room (showing what you *really* learn in high school) and joins the 
other two.  She huggles Elsa  "I know what it feels like, as if you're 
*not* the only person in the world, but everyone else doesn't care.  
Like others have said, it *will* go away!  In the meantime......hey 
lizardbutt!"  A glowing ball of fire floats over to where the three sit, 
and resolves itself into a salamandre.  It looks about as indignant as a 
lizard can get.  "Be a sweetheart, Natha, and get us some hot chava?  
Please?  I promise I won't call you a lizard anymore."  She bats her 
eyelashes ridiculously at the tiny creature, who then attmpts to stalk 
off, hampered by the fact that small lizards cannot stalk, but may only 
waddle impressively.  He returns soon with three big mugs of chava 
floating behind him, and settles on his mistress's shoulder [try saying 
that aloud].  "Thanks Natha!  oooo, nummy!"  She hands the two other 
cups to Sorana and Elsa.

Yes!  I love Hyman's work!  Does anyone know where I could get prints of 
any of her drawings?

Yeah:  Book of Three, Black Cauldron, Tower of Llyr, Taran Wanderer and 
The High King.  Hope you enjoy them, they are really very great!

ObMisty.....ummmm, can I please, please beg off this time?  I promise

Hey hey hey list-sibs (and newbies......welcome to our little sad world of
Mistyness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<---don't even try to count!)

TIME:
I remember that in one of the books (I want to say maybe Oathbreakers or
Obound?, no textevd though) they mentioned something about "24 candlemarks, or
one day."  Assuming that Velgarth's time was similar to ours, that would imply
that each cm was an hour.

Heck ya;-)  Bios can be boring, but I think you'll be surprised by how much
they help when you're fleshing out your character and/or writing stories about
her.  That's another thing:  I found it helpful to model my persona's friends
and family first, then flesh her out according to how I thought she would
react.  Silvey:  you'll be happy to know that she is much more realistic now.
;-)  More to the Circle coming soon.  For all ya newbies, the Queens Circle is
a list to discuss personas.  :Ducking flame: I kinda sorta forgot who was put
in charge after Old Nic left us for a while.  I'm sure one of you nice sibs
will post it without making me feel too stupid right?  ;-)

Well... I don't see the need for what some people have done, telling who 
their Companion was in a previous incarnation. Especially considering 
that information will never be used.
