That's what I keep telling myself anyway (Iwon'tgrowup!Nononononono! Um, sorry.) I've thought that the character's problems didn't interest me as much, Darian's problems just weren't on Talia's scale. He had troubles, but he was never physically or emotionally abused. And Van had bad dreams... (understatement of the year) as well as abuse. And Keth was abu-- hey, see a pattern? I think that the characters with the most serious problems are the ones you get closest too. It wasn't until the barbarians attacked that Darian had probs, and then it just went by too quickly. Owlsight is better. And hopefully Owlknight wil be better by as much, and thus be awesome. And the thought of growing out of Misty is profoundly depressing, so I'll just go ignore that thought near a dry newbie... ::Saunters casually over to Wolfshadow.:: Hmm, glad that wasn't me, ::as she peers at the stunned Herald.:: Of course we'll let you live. It's one of the reasons why Thanksgiving came about (of course, not celebrated in full until this century)... are there any other real-life countries that have something similar? Actually, Pagan/Wiccans/Witches celibrate the harvest. :) There are 3 different days for this (from what I've read). Lughnasadh(Aug 1st)= The first harvest. The God begins to die but lives inside the Goddess as Her child. Mabon(around Sept 21st): The big harvest thing ... thanksgiving ect. :) Samhain(Oct 31st): Final harvest, kidna thingy. At this time, the veil between the worlds is very thin. Samhain is the Witches' New Year because it represents one full turn of the Wheel. Samhain is a time of reflection, of looking back over the last year, rememberance of those who have passed before us. Some of that is from a website, the rest is my own words ... umm if any of it doesn't check out with what some of you guys know, then don't yell at me, k ...
