Message-ID: <2.2.32.19981220132334.0067ac5c-+AT+-qinet.net> i'm a long-time lurker... not sure how long, actually. hmmm... i first signed up on my first isp during christmas vacation. that was... oh my, it was about two years ago. i've been on the net that long? i have! well, i never *was* too good at keeping track of time. oh yeah. my point. i've seen the movie thing raised a couple of times. i think when i started people were discussing it, but my memory's so bad i can't remember much of any of it. i vaguely remember a suggestion of paul adrian (duncan mcleod of 'the highlander') for vanyel being made and subsequently quashed. ('i think of vanyel as beautiful... paul adrian is sexy, yes, but not beautiful...' something like that.) uhhh... can you tell i'm not very good at staying on topic? anyway... what i was wondering was who would be the absolute *worst* person to put into any of the roles. have to say why. and no fair including someone no one else on the list could possibly know! incidentally, my sister mentioned that she felt cindy crawford would be the worst possible diana tregarde when i broached the idea to her. (the diana tregarde books are the only misty that she's ever read, though i've been trying to get her to read tarma and kethry.) i think that woody allen would be the worst for any incarnation of ma'ar. mornelithe, leareth, ma'ar, any of them. he just doesn't look, act, or sound evil at all. especially with the glasses. and the characters he plays just don't seem that imposing. (this isn't necessarily anything against woody allen personally, it's just that he *would* make a horrible ma'ar...) owlsight? is that related to owlflight? just got owlflight, but haven't read it yet. actually it's my christmas present from a friend, but she told me what it was. ('hey, selene, that's what i got you' [points at owlflight in a bookstore]) uhhh... does any of this count as misty content, or do i still need an obMisty? because right now i can't think of any... (probably been playing ff7 too long... breeding chocobos is annoying, and i've got the chocobo battle music stuck in my head.) zaijian!
