   I had been thinking about it for a while, and if anyone has seen Antonio Banderas when he was younger (just doing spanish acting then), that would be good for a Vanyel :). Now, I think he's a little too butch for the job, at least in face. I could see him possibly as an extra Herald, perhaps. Maybe as Mero when Talia was younger? *g*

   The book that I would like to see the most as a movie would have to be Black Gryphon. With that, you could use the graphic abilities of George Lucas for the non-humans, and (at least BG) has good armed forces scenes with lots of magic flailing around, and a quiet scene to start, and a big bang to finish :).

   So am I :). While I enjoyed the Gryphon series (have yet to read SG) as it was, I would have liked to have seen the world prior to the big bang with all of its magics and so forth :). We've had a lot to do with kingdoms that hardly use any magic (in comparison). It would be interesting to see a kingdom in that world that has it as such an integral part of their society :). Plus Urtho was neat *grin*.

   Selene asked about Firebird :). In my mind, the universe of the Firebird and that of Chrome Circle are a tad bit off from one another. That's the only way that I can explain her short note of it in CC being different than the long story ;). As for where she got it, I would think that she saw parts of what the story was (I've got a russian folk tale book as well :), and wanted to expand or change things here and there :).

   In the tale that I read, the brothers weren't that bad at all, but Misty favors having the hero/ine having family problems, and so she changed them around some... also in making the wolf into a fox... in the one that I read, the wolf allowed the prince to ride on him as if it were a horse... Misty enjoys making her characters walk *g*. (Yeah, I know, poor, but still *g*).

   Can always tell that someone loves reading if it causes their parents to consider it for grounding purposes *laugh*. When I was younger, that's about all that we had to do when we got grounded, but the books that we had were more adult books... very thick, hard cover, boring topics... we would mope around instead *grin*.

   I believe that there is a part in one of the Winds books when Elspeth is greeted by one of the Shin'a'in spirits that we've decided is Tarma, but aren't sure as when they exactly died..There is another book, By The Sword, that has T&K in it, as more or less minor characters :). It's about Kero, Kethry's granddaughter. It fits in between the Oath books and the Winds :).

I agree. She's almost too sinister to play Kero. Kero is tough, yes, but

Grease 2 alongside Michelle Pfeiffer, back when Michelle Pfeiffer was 
young enough to almost pass as a high school student.

the movie where she played Catwoman.

He's a bit too rugged. Besides, can he do evil? Some people just can't; 
Adrian Paul, for one. He tries, bless his heart, but always looks more

And The Princess Bride, which explains my fixations with actors from

The problem with Harrison Ford is that, well, he's almost always 
Harrison Ford, regardless of his role. See Sabrina and The Fugitive.

good Companion voice, or maybe be Randale.

Found a part for Mel Gibson--Tal Rufen! Go Tal! Just finished Four And 
Twenty Blackbirds, liked it lots. Tal is tres cool. 
I was mildly disappointed in the lack of romance, though. I'm a sucker. 
Would I really want to put Ardis through hell for the sake of a love 
story?

Remember, this is the girl whose elven ambassador/spy contrived to fall 
in sickeningly sweet love with a ridiculously noble, humble, 
self-effacing human Knight. Talk about uproar. Ye gods.

Somehow, I feel like Firesong's voice needs to be like Lawrence Harvey's.
He's the poor main character in _The Manchurian Candidate_--a very precise,
crisply enunciated voice.  And the face of the actor should be
sharp-featured.
