1) Don't send encoded files to the list. If you've a picture that you want
people to look at (for instance), put it up on a web page and tell the list
where.

2) Absolutely, positively, do not ever send encoded programs/executables to 
the list.

3) Do not have your mail software set to automatically execute attachments
to mail messages. If you need help making sure that it doesn't, talk to your
local tech support people.

4) Happy99.exe is a "worm" program, in that it tries to collect information
about your system and then send it somewhere else. Don't execute it. Delete
it from your system.

If any of you received an e-mail from ANYONE with an executable
file attached by the name of happy99.exe, your system may be infected.
Apparantly, this virus only infects if you open the file. If you didn't 
open the file, just delete the e-mail. If you did open the file, please 
refer to the following url to get rid of the virus. From what I have 
been told, it is non destructive, but anyone you e-mail will get a 
second e-mail message with the file automatically, and you will be 
unaware of this. Sorry for the inconvenience, but based on how it 
functions, it is spread very easily and without the user being aware of 
this.

I always thought that Spike kinda fell into his own little catagorie (prolly
cause I do love him so) hmmm... no matter how hard I try to make the
connection between him and Firesong, I really can't seen to do so... Am I

All I know is I had Spike set up as a desktop theme on my puter, and whenever
I tried to mess with any of the settings it would yell at me, so fearing that
the demon that is Spike had somehow taken her over (yes my puter is female,
and her name is Nemesis) I took it down completely. I didn't want Spike to do
to Nemesis what Falconsbane did to An'Desha (I don't know about you, but I
love An'Desha to death, hehehe, heeeeeere kitty, kitty!)

And Kikata was the old guy from Pocahontas, long silver hair and everything.

Heyla!

  Hi, to all newbies! Right now I really HATE computers. Do you know 
what happened to me today? My Internet connection was deleted, I 
couldn't access ANY of my pictures that I had downloaded from the 
Internet (a large quantity of them features Magic Knights: rayearth), 
and, the most important folder of all, my files from my computer class 
were gone as well as several drives (including the all important H 
drive). <groans> Why does the world hate me? All I ask is for a little 
kidness from a scientifically impared worshiper of the Internet! <sigh>
  I have know OB Misty today, but I do have a question concerning my 
favorite anime (which I know so little about because all I've seen of it 
is the pictures from the Internet) Magic Knights: rayearth. Can anyone 
tell me who the evil person with the pink hair and pointed ears is? I 
think I read something on a web page tht she was the evil part of 
Hikaru, although I could be mistaken. Actually, I could be mistaken 
about a lot of things in that show which I know so little about. I hope 
that they bring it over to Canada sometime in the near future.

Sorry, I know I said I wouldn't intrude on conversations until I was 
introduced but this I just had to answer.

I would definitely be a scribe or a minstrel depending on my view of the 
world at the time.  I love to do both.  I would probably end up as a 
minstrel because I love music more than anything but being a scribe (my 
second choice) seems more profitable.

Myself I rarely even open a exe file unless I've scanned it with every
virus scanner that I've got.  Those exe attachments I delete out of hand
and will continue deleting.
