Heyla all, I am just writing to announce that as of today, I now own all of Misty's Velgarth series! Including Sword of Ice (I've been looking for that for a long time.) I am so excited! I also wanted to say how grateful I am to be part of this list. Nobody I know reads Misty, or even likes fantasy books. Most of them don't read at all. For me, reading is like breathing, and Misty's books are the oxygen. (Okay, I know, that was pretty corny) Sorry. Anywayz, It is nice to have listsibs to talk to. Since I've moved, I haven't made many friends. It's hard when you have to leave the place you've spent your whole life in. *berates herself for indulging in such self pity* Sorry about that. BTTP, thank you for letting me be a part of k'Misty. =0) _Sorry, first attempt at Fluff_ *A young girl steps into the Hall with trepidation. She looks around with awe at the beauty of it all. At first she is a little overwhelmed, but she is greeted by a sea of smiling listsibs. She gazes out across the Hall at all the chatting listsibs and familiars, and gains some confidence. She walks around offering everyone rainbow marshmallows and tiny jade sheep as a token of friendship. Then she settles herself in a hotspring and joins a friendly conversation* End Fluff "One's life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others, by means of love, friendship, indignation, and compassion." Larry is his name. Mark is mentioned in it too, but the ending leaves it open for another book. -----Original Message----- From: Paige [SMTP:ppwalker-+AT+-sympatico.ca] Sent: Friday, April 02, 1999 9:41 PM To: duboses-+AT+-arcent.army.mil Subject: Re: Di Tregarde/Spoilers Jamie Jackobs (I think) wrote: > >The books are more-or-less self-standing, so I wouldn't worry overmuch > >about the order. Hello, my name is Utopia Nolan (no, that's not my real name, but I like it better), but everyone calls me "Topia" (well, really, nobody in RL calls me topia, but besides them). . . Anyway, I'm 15, and I'm from Ohio. I'm not fond of where i live. some people consider me a goth. I just subscribed to this list. I beleive my friend daine (do you go by that name here?) is on this list as well. I just recently read then entire arrows of the queen trilogy. (i read arrows fall between midnight and 3am, so i don't recollect all of what happened very well, but i couldn't put it down!) i just finished winds of fate last night. um. that's really all i've read by misty. (no, wait, i've read a few sotries from oathblood too, silly i) But what i've read i really enjoyed. i refuse to read the last herald mage trilogy because from what i've heard of vanyel, i have a feeling i will be falling for him and HARD if i read it. *grin* currently, i happen to be crushing on skif and i will be SO upset if he winds up nyara. . . anyway, that is all. . . ~topia~ http://members.tripod.com/~frost42 http://manifest-angel.com/topia Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of MERCEDES-LACKEY Digest 1923 **********************************
