ThoughtSensing is the ability to read thought regardless of whether the other person has any talent. MindSpeech is the ability to send thought to another talented person. And MindHearing is the ability to receive a message sent by a talented person. I think I remember a comment in one of the books to the effect that MindSpeech and MindHearing usually go hand in hand. I believe that this was explained to Kerowyn in *By the Sword*, I can't remember by who though. Come to think of it, maybe it was explained to Talia when she first started school. Someone, somewhere, asked what gift you would like to have. (Can't remember who and I've already erased those messages) I would like to have ThoughtSensing, but the way Eldan had it with animals in *By the Sword*. Of course then I would have to become a vegetarian, but I've always thought they would probably have more worthwhile things to say than most humans I know. Besides, I would really like to know why the dog looks at me so strangely sometimes. I also have a question, I know the ML won't be writing any more DT mysteries and I think it is perfectly understandable though upsetting. But, I thought I had read somewhere that she was planning to write a historical centering on Andre. Is this correct and when might we see something? Okay, two questions. I know this is a little off subject, but she did publish some of ML's stories. Is Marion Zimmer Bradley planning on publishing a Sword & Sorceress this year? I always look forward to it, but it is usually out by now. Jadzia. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
